Ecostentialism (2018)

With this book, the poet breathes a fresh and stimulating breath into the world of poetry. The writing considers various dwelling places inside the human as well as those outside in the wide world; the imagery rendered is both multifaceted and delightfully unexpected. The poet has previously released a novel and academic texts and here we have his second book of poetry.

Reviews

Ecostentialism is an especially well conceived and well rendered piece, with the poetry and design of the book working extremely well together.

EINAR FALUR INGOLFSSON, MORGUNBLADID DAILY

The [Icelandic title] ‘dwelling place’ conveys a sense of place and its resident while gesturing to existence itself and the place of being within it. This all comes together in the poetry, which is characterized by ruminations on the link between the corporeal and the incorporeal… the work’s tone is marked by a thoughtful humility tinged with humor. The larger picture is beautiful, complicated and magical.
