Gunnar T. Eggertsson

(b. 1982) has had a lifelong fascination with horror. He is the author of award-winning children’s and YA titles including The Stone Animals and Dead Disa, along with the adult novel Slaughter Season. He holds a master's degree in film studies from the University of Amsterdam and a PhD in Comparative Literature from the University of Iceland, specializing in animal studies. He also writes for video games.
