The Man Who Hated Children (2014)

Sylvek lives with his grandmother, who complains about the monotony of daily life in Reykjavik. Then everything changes. Someone starts to murder young boys in Reykjavik. Simultaneously a mysterious lodger with an obnoxious dog moves into their house. The lodger says he hates children.

Woven into the story is a famous children’s books author, a quick-witted journalist, a detective who is afraid of the sight of blood, and last but not least: the TV station Stasimon, which is mapping the life of Reykjavik for a TV reality show that is truly one of a kind.
