The Golden Waterfall (2020)

Soldis and Sumarlidi are busy trying to find some use for all the techie stuff they found inside the copper egg from the future: phones, batteries, a typewriter, and other similarly exciting things. But there is much more going on. A mysterious girl heads off into a secret tunnel, gossip-hungry reporters are hopping all about, a harmless salesman is opening a shopping center, and the thugs from the valley are all searching for a way to reclaim their power.

A continuation of Sigrun’s other futuristic stories: The Silver Key and The Copper Egg. The former won the Icelandic Literature Prize in the Children’s Book category and was nominated for both the Reykjavik Children’s Literature Prize and the Nordic Council Children and Young People’s Literature Prize.
