The Faceless Woman (2020)

On New Year’s Eve, Edda is invited to a wedding at Thingvellir National Park for people she hardly knows. She asks her neighbor Finn to come along while her granddaughter, Dagny Edda, photographs the ceremony with her friend. They all become entangled in an investigation into a terrifying crime committed outside the little church. The investigation shines an unexpected spotlight onto the party organized by the Prime Minister at the old Thingvellir farmhouse and upsets the young girls’ mysterious New Year‘s Plans.
