Sigurdur Palsson (1948-2017) was a remarkably imaginative and artful poet. His poetry possesses a certain uncanny power. As a true aesthete, he writes with equal portions insight and sensitivity about the complex and often painful emotions of being human. Kristjan Thordur Hrafnsson edits this compilation of poems selected from Sigurdur’s sixteen books of poetry. He also contributed the foreword while Ragnar Helgi Olafsson has written the afterword.
