A priest in a hospice seeks out Stella with his last confession involving the rape and murder of a 12-year-old girl in the northern region of Strandir. Stella’s ex-girlfriend suffers a mysterious assault  in Snæfellsnes, and a client dies in a horrendous explosion at a meeting of the Nationalist Party at the University Cinema. That is more than enough for the hardened lawyer who lets nothing stop  her in the pursuit of justice.
