A captivating journey through childhood under the Greek sun.
Ella Stina is eight years old when she embarks on an adventure with her family abroad. In Greece, everything feels different from her home in Iceland: lizards dart across the walls, mandarins and olives grow on the trees, goats wander around with bells hanging from their necks, and the tiny chapel-like structures in the hills must surely be built for children. Ella Stina roams freely with her younger brothers, while their parents are often occupied with their writing.
Years later, Ella Stina returns to Greece, but what has become of the sun-drenched family that once was?
