Jump (2012)

Alexandra Flask solemnly prepares a jump from the fourth-floor balcony of her old Barcelona apartment. In the midst of a sticky heatwave she fights a persistent chill in her heart, born of loss, guilt, and an instinctive aversion to happy endings. The unbridled love-life of her 22 year old local friend Lif does little to improve the situation, and the urge to change the course of life becomes ever stronger. But what, exactly, is the role of the body in our search for peace? Why do some renounce the pleasures of the flesh? Can love blossom in cloisters? And, most importantly, if you are not prepared to take your own life, can you possibly take half of it?
