
Heidur McCarron hasn't seen her brother since the summer of 1980, when their father took then seven-year-old Dylan to Northern Ireland. When Dylan suddenly contacts Heidur to ask for help after 28 years of silence, she finds herself at a crossroads in her complicated family life and embarks on a search for answers to questions about the past – why her father gave up a peaceful family life in Reykjavík to return to his homeland and defend the honor of his people.
