
When Sunna and Arsol receive a letter from their mother who claims to be at death’s door they have opposite reactions: Arsol wants to rush to her side but Sunna is full of misgivings. The mother and daughters share a fraught relationship with a past marked by disappointment and pain. In the end the sisters are joined by Barbara, an old friend of their mother, as they hurry off to Andalucia.
