Here I sit, having turned my life upside down because of a few fingers in the wrong place for just a moment.
Life seems spread out in front of this talented, young woman. She has good friends, a loving family, and will be on her way to an exciting entrance exam at a prestigious foreign music school. But after what her friends do at a Christmas party, she experiences only a strange numbness and disassociation with herself and those closest to her.
A gripping modern tale that deals in a realistic manner with the consequences of abuse and finding a way back from inside this dark room. The book won the 2020 New Voices competition sponsored by Forlagid Publishing.
