A Norse pagan cult has fortified itself on a remote farmstead against the vast backdrop of Iceland’s glaciers. Armed and unyielding, the cult is determined to fight for its freedom at any cost. Investigative reporter Magnea is invited into the fortress to interview the cult’s enigmatic High Chieftain, Odinn Jonsson. Unaware of the leader’s plan, Magnea soon finds herself trapped in the siege and taken hostage as part of a larger scheme. The cult demands the release of prisoners and official recognition of their self-proclaimed free state; as tense negotiations stall, the situation descends into chaos and violence.
