Birna Danielsdottir

(b. 1981) is a trained marine biologist and has, among other things, worked on whale counts and as a specialist in microbiology. In 2020 she fulfilled a long-held dream, studied drawing, and has since worked as an illustrator. Winner of Sólfaxi, the Icelandic Children's Book Award 2025.
